Yesterday, the enemy fired 59 times from multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of the criminal actions of the Russian occupiers, civilian residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and civilians were killed and wounded.
There is a great danger of further Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in its morning briefing.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarske areas.
Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have repelled attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Kuzemivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Region and Fedorivka, Yagidne, Berkhivka, Bakhmut and Kurdyumivka in Donetsk Region.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas: no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were detected. Areas of settlements of Bachivsk, Brusky, Pavlivka, Vorozhba and Hrabovskoe of Sumy Region, as well as more than 20 settlements in Kharkiv Region, were subjected to enemy shelling. Among them are Strilecha, Morokhovets, Starytsa, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Volohivka, Budarky, Bologhivka and Kolodyazne.
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy shelled the vicinities of Dvorichna, Hryanikyvka, Kotlyarivka, Kupyansk and Berestove settlements of Kharkiv Region; Stelmakhivka, Ivanivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova and Bilogorivka in Luhansk Region and Fedorivka in Donetsk Region.
Bakhmut area: vicinities of 21 settlements were shelled. In particular, these are Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bilogorivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Stupochki, Klishchiyivka, Ozaryanivka and Toretsk.
Avdiyivka and Shakhtarske areas: the enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, Pervomayske, Vodyane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Bogoyavlenka, Novomykhaylivka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka, and Vuhledar.
Zaporizhzhya area: the vicinities of the settlements of Novosilka, Vremivka and Novopil of Donetsk Region and Olhivske, Hulyaypole, Malynivka, Mahdalinyvka, Pavlivka, Stepove, Kamyanske, Novoandriyivka, Orihiv, Charivne, Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka of Zaporizhzhya Region were hit by fire.
Kherson area: the city of Kherson was hit from a multiple-launch rocket system. There are victims among the civilian population. Areas of 18 settlements were also hit by enemy artillery. Among them are Mykhaylivka, Dudchany, Mylove, Tomarine, Shlyakhove, Beryslav, Mykolayivka, Kozatske, Vesele, Antonivka and Veletenske.
In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Region, the enemy continues to impose forced passports on the population. The Russian occupying forces, together with the police, have increased checks at checkpoints and are threatening to evict all citizens who do not receive a Russian passport from the beginning of March.
Over the past day, the Air Force of the Defence Forces made 8 strikes on areas of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers’ concentration and 2 strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes. Our units of missile and artillery forces hit 2 areas where the enemy’s manpower was concentrated.
