France has deciphered the flight recorder of the helicopter that crashed in Brovary, Kyiv Region, killing the leadership of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said at a news conference, Suspilne reports.

"The investigation is ongoing. The black box was found, it was sent to France for decryption. The data has been received, the investigation has it. The investigation is ongoing, and I, like you, want to wait for the results and see reasoned answers to a number of questions," he said.

Shmyhal noted that there is currently no public information regarding the decrypted data. He added that he was also waiting for the results of the investigation.

"I think they will be available soon. A lot of work has already been done there, that is, there are very clear results of the technical condition of the helicopter, there are all the materials from the black box, they are preserved, they are of high quality. The investigation is now working on the details, and I think we will get the result soon," he said.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko recently announced that the first results of the investigation into the Brovary crash would be released in late March or early April.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials have been banned from flying helicopters until the investigation into the Brovary plane crash is complete.
