Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has sent a video showing the execution of a captured Ukrainian soldier by Russians to Ukraine's international partners and fellow ombudsmen.

"The shooting of a captured Ukrainian soldier is a violation of the Geneva Conventions. This is a manifestation of lowliness and meanness. I have sent this video to international partners and fellow ombudsmen from around the world as a confirmation of another war crime committed by Russia," Lubinets said on Telegram.

He published the video and noted that it is not recommended for people with sensitive minds and minors. Lubinets noted that it is very painful to watch what the Russians are doing to our people.

"When the words 'Glory to Ukraine' evoke honour, respect and pride all over the world, Russians shoot people for the Ukrainian slogan... The goal of Ukraine, as well as the entire democratic world, is to bring the Russian Federation to justice. Russia will have to answer for every war crime it has committed," the ombudsman added.

A video of how Russian troops shot an unarmed Ukrainian soldier for saying "Glory to Ukraine" was leaked online today. It is not yet known when the video was filmed.

The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said that the killing of Ukrainian prisoners by the Russian military is an example of their national despicable nature and weakness. He emphasized that "there will be a reckoning for every such war crime" and "no-one will be able to hide from it".
