Air defence forces have destroyed an enemy drone near Kyiv, Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reports on Telegram.
"During the last air alert, a hostile UAV-type object was detected in the airspace north of Kyiv. The target was destroyed by air defence forces and means. Once again, we thank our air defence!" he wrote.
Popko appealed to Kyiv residents and urged them to immediately go to the nearest shelters in case of receiving a signal about the threat of airstrikes.
Earlier, Kyiv Digital (Tsyfrovyy) together with the military launched a platform to help the capital's air defence forces.
