Ukraine's main tasks are "to expel the Russian occupiers, cleanse our land of traces of the evil state, and punish the terrorists", President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his evening address. He also noted that Ukraine would fulfil these tasks.

"Another week of our defence against the evil state is coming to an end. Another week when every day, every night, the Russian army was shelling Ukrainian cities, villages, killing our people. Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhya Region, Beryslav in Kherson Region, Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Avdiyivka, Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Region, Kostyantynivka in Sumy Region... And dozens and dozens of other Ukrainian towns and villages that have been hit by Russian terrorists this week – one week. My condolences to all those who have lost their families, their loved ones..." Zelenskyy said.

He also noted that this week has brought a very significant international legal result for Ukraine.

"There is an International Criminal Court warrant for the arrest of the Russian leader, and this is a turning point. The moment after which it becomes certain that the end of this aggression for Russia will be the full range of its responsibility. Responsibility for every strike on Ukraine, for every destroyed life, for every deported Ukrainian child... And, of course, for every manifestation of destabilisation of the world that resulted from Russian aggression," Zelenskyy said.
