Ukraine's Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has released a video of the Marder infantry fighting vehicles delivered by Germany. He called them "an excellent example of German quality".
“I've tried it myself. I love the way they roar! Would be happy if Anka Feldusen (German Ambassador to Ukraine - ed.) could join me. Let’s do it together! Thank you to the Chancellor, Boris Pistorius and the German people,” he wrote on Twitter.

Berlin was going to hand over 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine by the end of March. In total, the country will provide 40 such vehicles. In Germany, Marder is being gradually decommissioned, but hundreds of vehicles are still in service. The military has been using this armoured personnel carrier since the early 1970s, but it has been constantly upgraded.
