Russians are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 20 attacks over the last day. The most intense fighting is taking place for Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.

Over the last day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out six strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, while missile and artillery units hit two clusters of Russian manpower, two fuel and lubricant depots and an enemy electronic warfare station.

Meanwhile, Russian troops launched four missile and seven air strikes, and carried out more than 10 MLRS attacks at Ukrainian troops' positions and civilian infrastructure.

The General Staff added that the Russian forces continue to suffer huge losses in manpower. As a result, local medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territories are fully loaded.

Thus, a tent camp for the wounded Russian invaders was set up in one of the settlements of Simferopol district of temporarily occupied Crimea. As of 4 April, about a hundred Russian servicemen were undergoing rehabilitation in this camp.
