The drone "attack" on the Kremlin, which Russians accuse Ukraine of, may indicate that Moscow is preparing a large-scale terrorist attack, Mykhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, has said on Twitter.

"Regarding drones over the Kremlin. Everything is predictable... Russia is obviously preparing a large-scale terrorist act. That's why it first detains a large group of alleged saboteurs in Crimea. And then it demonstrates the 'drones over the Kremlin'," Podolyak said.

He stressed that Ukraine is fighting an exclusively defensive war and such "attacks" on facilities in the Russian Federation do not solve any military problem. But at the same time, for Moscow, such actions would be the basis for justifying attacks on civilian Ukrainians.

"Secondly, we are watching with interest the growing number of incidents and excesses taking place in different parts of Russia. The appearance of unidentified UAVs at energy facilities or on Kremlin territory may indicate the underground work of local resistance forces. As you know, drones can be bought at any military store," Podolyak noted.

According to him, the loss of power control over the country by Putin and his henchmen is obvious. Therefore, "something is definitely happening in Russia, but definitely without Ukraine's drones over the Kremlin".

As reported by the Russian media, last night there was an attempt to launch a drone strike on the Kremlin residence of the Russian president.
