Russian troops are evacuating people to their defence lines in the occupied part of Kherson Region, thus trying to hide behind civilians, Natalya Humenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Defence Forces South, has said on the air of the telethon.
"We see an imitation of caring for the local population every time the ruscists had their backs on fire," she said.
According to her, they acted in the same way on the right bank of Kherson Region, when it started displacing the local population.
"We are seeing this on the left bank of Kherson Region now, when they are trying to evacuate people deeper into the countryside, to where they are setting up their defence lines," said Humenyuk.
Thus they are trying to hide behind local residents while deploying their units and equipment.
Provocations are probably being prepared in the occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya Region, where the Russians have announced an "evacuation".
Also in Zaporizhzhya Region, the Russian military is forcibly taking children from their parents for the purpose of forced evacuation. They are also forcibly taking women with children.
