The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has commented on today's attempted assassination of propagandist Zakhar Prilepin in Russia and said that it will be possible to talk about who is behind this or that attempt after the victory over Russia, its press service told LB.ua in response to a request.

"Officially, we can neither confirm nor deny the SBU's involvement in any of the incidents that happen to the occupiers and their henchmen. At the same time, as SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk has repeatedly noted, for the Russians who brought war, death and violence to our land, cotton [wordplay] has been burning, is burning and will continue to burn! Therefore, death is the only prospect we can offer the occupiers," the SBU said in a statement.

The agency noted that it will be possible to talk about who is behind this or that attempt after the victory over Russia, which, as noted, will definitely come soon.

On 6 May, unidentified persons blew up a car with propagandist writer Prilepin in Russia. He is in hospital, the driver was killed.
