The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that the Russian army had once again attacked the village of Stanislav in Kherson District.
"The Russian army has once again attacked the village of Stanislav, injuring six civilians. Five of the wounded were taken to the Bilozerka hospital. They received medical treatment and were released home. Among them is a 9-year-old child. The boy sustained mine-blast injuries and a head wound. The child's life is currently not in danger. One wounded woman, 47 years old, was taken to hospital in Kherson in a moderate condition," he said on Telegram.
Later, Prokudin said that the number of victims had increased.
"According to the updated information, 10 people were wounded in Russian shelling of Stanislav, including a 9-year-old child. Nine of the wounded were treated by doctors and released home," he added.
Shortly before that, it was reported that the Russian military had struck the village of Antonivka in Kherson Region. A 67-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were injured. They were hospitalised.
The liberated territory of Kherson Region is under constant Russian fire. Over the past day, the Russians hit the region 42 times, firing 282 shells from heavy artillery, Grad, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. Russia shelled the city of Kherson 7 times. Two people were injured as a result of the attack.
