Russia has managed to establish missile production despite sanctions. The wreckage of the missiles shot down over Ukraine indicates that they were manufactured in the first quarter of 2023, Vadym Skibitskyy of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate has told RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the Russians "manage to import components for the production of missile weapons, despite international sanctions". The Russians can produce Kh-101 missiles in higher numbers.
"They bring Kalibr missiles to occupied Crimea at least twice a month. Now the Russians are able to produce about 25 Kalibrs per month, 35 Kh-101, two Kinzhals, and five 9M723 ballistic missiles for Iskander-M," he said.
After yet another missile attack, when Russia fired six of its modern Kinzhal missiles at Kyiv at once, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov noted that the Russians had 73 of them left.
