Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled numerous Russian attacks near the town of Maryinka. The Russians also carried out air strikes on the settlement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
During the day, Russia launched another massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, using Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. All 36 drones were destroyed. The Russians also launched two missile strikes from the S-300 air defence system against the civilian infrastructure of Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv Region, damaging a private house, and carried out 48 air strikes and 10 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. There were 17 combat engagements in the area.
The Defence Forces' aviation carried out four strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, while missile and artillery units hit two Russian manpower clusters, an ammunition depot, a radar station and an artillery unit at firing positions.
