The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Ivan Vyhivskyy as chief of the National Police of Ukraine, the government representative in parliament, Taras Melnychuk, has said on Telegram.
According to him, the decision was made at a government meeting on Friday.
Vyhivskyy has been acting head of the National Police since 20 January after his predecessor Ihor Klymenko was appointed acting interior minister.
