South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon-hee travelled to Ukraine via Poland on 15 July, Yonhap has reported.
Yoon Suk Yeol visited the site of Russian mass atrocities in Bucha and another heavily damaged Kyiv Region town of Irpin.
Prosecutor-General Andriy Kostin, who gave the visiting leader a tour of the area, thanked Yoon Suk Yeol for his firm position and said that the world community must not tolerate large-scale attacks on civilians.
A meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planned later today.
This visit completes a two-part trip during which the South Korean president first visited Lithuania for the NATO summit and then paid an official visit to Poland.
