In the course of an offensive operation in the Berdyansk sector, the Defence Forces succeeded and advanced into the enemy lines at a distance of 350 m to 1.4 km, the joint press centre of the Tavriya Defence Forces reported on Facebook.
The press centre also noted that fierce fighting was going on for Staromayorsk. The situation in the Melitopol sector remained unchanged.
"Due to the dense mining, Ukrainian mine clearance groups and assault units are carrying out demining and inflicting fire damage. The rest of the strike units are consolidating their positions along the captured lines and are ready for further offensive actions," the press centre said.
