At around 1 p.m. today, Russia launched a Kalibr cruise missile attack on Ukraine from the Black Sea. The missiles were probably launched from a Russian submarine, the Ukrainian Air Force Command has said.
The missiles entered the airspace from the southeast, changing course along the route.
Both missiles were shot down in Vinnytsya Region.
"The Tu-95MS strategic bombers we reported earlier are still in the air. Enemy aircraft are moving to the launch area - the Caspian Sea. The estimated time of reaching the launch area is 5 p.m.," the command said.
It urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid warnings and take cover.
