President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced reinforcements for Ukraine's air defence, the presidential press service reported.

"Daily conference call. I’ve heard the latest reports on weapons and ammunition supply. There are reinforcements for our air defence. They will be directed where they are most needed now," the message reads.

The president noted that the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service reported on Russia's military activity and plans, while the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) gave an update on the latest steps against "the enemy within the state". Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy reported on offensive and defensive operations along the entire frontline.

After pulling out of the grain deal on 17 July, Russia began shelling the grain infrastructure of southern Ukraine daily.

A few days ago, Zelenskyy said Ukraine would receive more air defence systems, artillery and long-range weapons from partners.
