Russia once again attacked the port infrastructure in Odesa Region, using Kalibr cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the Black Sea.

A civilian guard was killed, and one of the cargo terminals was damaged, the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, has said on Telegram. The sentry office and two cars were destroyed.

Russia stepped up attacks on Odesa, its ports and grain storage facilities after pulling out unilaterally from the grain deal on 17 July. Since then it has pounded the region every night for several days in a row, damaging Odesa's historical centre and a cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in addition to the port infrastructure.
