The Armed Forces are advancing in the south, but to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers, news of the offensive is being reported in a rationed manner, Natalya Humenyuk, head of the Joint Press Centre of the Operational Command South, has told the news telethon.
"The news may be a little slow. But remember that there is a lot of hard work behind it all. We are making progress. We are just informing about it in a rationed manner in order to save the lives of our defenders," she said.
Humenyuk said that the work of the Defence Forces is very complex. Breaking through the Russian defence line is only the first stage. After that, Ukrainian defenders need to gain a foothold in certain areas and ensure the safety of the units that made that breakthrough.
