Russians have claimed Crime was attacked by drones last night, all of which they reportedly shot down.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, Ukrainian troops targeted facilities in Crimea with 20 drones, causing no damage or casualties.
It further claimed that 14 drones were shot down by air defences while six others were suppressed by electronic warfare means.
According to local social media groups, explosions were heard in Novoozerne, the site of a large Russian military hardware base. It was arranged there before the full-scale invasion of mainland Ukraine.
The previous drone attack on Crimea allegedly happened on 10 August, several days after Ukrainian troops hit two important logistic nodes of Russia on the peninsula.
