The Chief of UK Defence Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, has arrived in Kyiv, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy has said.
Together they visited one of the command posts. Zaluzhnyy briefed the admiral in detail on the situation on the battlefield, the offensive and defensive actions of Ukrainian forces. They also discussed the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army.
"I thanked our partners for their support as we continue to fight the Russian aggressor for the sake of victory," Zaluzhnyy said.
As reported earlier, Ukraine and the United Kingdom have started consultations on a security guarantee agreement.
Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to study urban warfare as part of a training mission in the UK.
