In the eastern directions the number of attacks and shelling by the Russian occupiers decreased due to the regrouping troops, announced the Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Malyar on live.
"During the past week and on the first day of this week, we have recorded a decrease in shelling and the number of attacks in the east. But this does not mean that the enemy has given up its plans," she said.
Deputy of Reznikov explained that the Russians are currently engaged in regrouping and restoring the forces lost in the battles.
Malyar added that the decrease in the number of Russian shelling in Donbas is also related to the fact that the Defence Forces "hit the enemy very mightily when they became more active in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions."
Over 15 combat clashes took place on the front yesterday.
Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 540 occupiers yesterday.
