Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has arrived in Ukraine.
He met President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and senior members of his office.
Zelenskyy said that the parties discussed "many important issues". They discussed the Peace Formula, preparations for the Global Peace Summit, and the risks posed by Russia's blockade of the Black Sea grain corridor.
The president thanked Turkey for its continued and consistent support for Ukraine.
As reported earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planning to meet Russia's Vladimir Putin in September. The meeting of the presidents is to be organised by the Turkish foreign minister, who may travel to Russia.
Recently, it became known that Russia, Turkey and Qatar are preparing a new agreement to replace the grain deal to supply grain to Africa. At the same time, Fidan asked the Russians to resume the previous grain initiative, under which grain was also supplied from Ukraine.
