On the morning of 29 August, Russians shelled a food processing plant in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupyansk District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations were launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on 29 August, at about 8:30 a.m., the enemy shelled Kupyansk with artillery. A hit was recorded on the territory of a food processing plant. A security guard was killed. 

A private household was also damaged, and a 67-year-old civilian man was wounded.

An apartment building was damaged as a result of hostile shelling of Kupyansk at around 5:00 am.

On 28 August, the Russian military shelled the village of Kurylivka, Kupyansk district. A residential building was damaged.

Russians killed five civilians in Donetsk Region over the past day, and injured four more.

Meanwhile, in Kherson region, one person was killed and four others were wounded in the last day as a result of enemy shelling. In particular, Kherson and Beryslav district were under shelling.
