The Russian occupying administration massively accuses Crimean residents of "discrediting the Russian army", according to the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva.

"As of 22 September 2023, 514 so-called administrative proceedings under Article 20.3.3 on 'discrediting the Russian army' were pending in the 'courts' in occupied Crimea," Tasheva said.

She added that in 435 cases, an illegal decision was made with a fine imposed.

As a rule, the fine under this article ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 roubles.

As reported earlier, employees of passport offices in Russian-occupied Crimea compile lists of graduating students for military enlistment offices. Dzhankoy District is the leader in terms of the number of potential recruits.
