The Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) expects soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), who are fighting on the side of Ukraine against Russia, to continue to conduct raids in the Russian border regions.

GUR chief Kyrylo Budanov recalled the recent combat operation by the RVC in Russia's Kursk Region, which involved an engagement resulting in several FSB officers, border guards and Russian military being killed.

"The RVC and other units will continue to develop their activities, as well as their scale," Budanov said.

On the night of 24 September, unknown saboteurs conducted a successful operation in Moscow and Kaluga regions of Russia.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, a fuel tanker was destroyed in a military camp in Kalininka, Moscow Region. Four vehicles with trailers were destroyed at military unit 42702 in Kaluga.
