Today a cargo ship left a Ukrainian Black Sea port after being loaded, Reuters reports, citing an industry source that did not provide details.

The vessel was the last to leave Ukraine's Black Sea port after Kyiv established a temporary "humanitarian corridor."

Last night, a drone attack on Odesa Region destroyed port infrastructure and wounded two people.

On 22 September, the second ship with Ukrainian wheat left the port of Chornomorsk through a temporary corridor established by the Ukrainian military. Prior to that, the Resilient Africa vessel with 3,000 tons of wheat for Asia had used the corridor.

Last month, according to an order from the Ukrainian Navy, Ukraine announced a "humanitarian corridor" in the Black Sea to free ships stuck in its ports after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and to circumvent a de facto blockade after Russia backed out of a deal to allow Kyiv to export grain.
