The vessel Aroyat (flag of Palau) with 17,600 tons of Ukrainian wheat for Egypt has left the port of Chornomorsk, states the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

"This is the second vessel to use the temporary corridor for civilian vessels to enter the port of Chornomorsk to export agricultural products to Asian countries. The crew of the vessel are citizens of Egypt, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Belgium and Albania," said Kubrakov.

He noted that before that, the Resilient Africa vessel with 3,000 tons of wheat for Asia had used the established corridor.

Last month, Ukraine announced a "humanitarian corridor" in the Black Sea by order of the Ukrainian Navy to free ships stuck in its ports after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and to circumvent the de facto blockade after Russia reneged on a deal to allow Kyiv to export grain.
