President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that important talks would take place in Washington today. Air defence is among the top issues for Ukraine.

"Last night, Russian terrorists launched another massive attack. In particular, on the infrastructure. Most of the missiles were shot down. But only the majority. Not all of them. I am grateful to the rescuers who immediately began to eliminate the consequences of the hits. I am also grateful to every country that has already provided Ukraine with anti-missile systems," Zelenskyy wrote.

He noted that work is underway to completely deprive Russia of its terrorist potential: "More air defence. More sanctions. More support for Ukrainian soldiers on the front line. Russian terror must lose".

Russia fired 43 cruise missiles at the territory of Ukraine at night, and the air defence forces destroyed 36 of them. The missiles entered the airspace from different directions and constantly changed course. Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Rivne, Khmelnytskyy, and Lviv Regions were attacked. At least seven people were injured in Kyiv, two in Kharkiv, and ten in Cherkasy Region.
