The Russian army targeted a transport company in Kherson at 10 in the morning, injuring four people. Two of them are in grave condition, according to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The Russians fired from artillery, added Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko. During the morning shelling, KORD special operatives managed to rescue a civilian whose leg was amputated due to the shelling. The victim was handed over to doctors. His condition is critical.
"In addition, a patrol police car came under fire. The impact was so strong that it pierced the armour. Two policemen were injured. They are hospitalised, one of the patrol policemen is in an extremely serious condition. We also know about the fourth victim. He is being treated by doctors. He was lightly injured," the minister said.
A pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings on the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated under the procedural supervision of the Kherson district prosecutor's office, the Prosecutor-General's Office added.
This morning, Russia also attacked Zolota Balka in Kherson Region. In addition, they fired on the outskirts of Kharkiv with S-300 missiles.
