Soldiers of the Tavriya Operational Strategic Group in Donetsk Region have destroyed three Russian Su-25 fighter jets over the past week, according to the group's commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyy.
On 15 October, Russians launched two missile and 35 air strikes, initiated 47 combat engagements and carried out 906 artillery attacks.
Meanwhile, the Tavriya group's missile and artillery units carried out 1,321 fire missions. Total Russian losses amounted to 472 people and 36 units of military equipment. These included four armoured personnel carriers, eight artillery systems, an air defence system, a Su-25 aircraft, 13 UAVs, six vehicles and one special vehicle, as well as an ammunition depot.
Over the past day, Ukrainian troops killed a total of 860 Russian troops. Thus, Russia has already lost almost 289,000 troops in Ukraine.
