Ukrainian defence forces continue offensive actions in the Bakhmut sector and offensive operation in the Melitopol sector. In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the enemy and consolidating their positions.
In this sector, the defenders repelled three attacks near Andriyivka, Donetsk Region, says General Staff spokesperson Andriy Kovalyov.
"In the Melitopol sector, Ukrainian defence forces continue their offensive and have partial success west of Verbove," he said.
"The defenders are inflicting losses on the occupiers and exhausting the enemy. At the same time, in the Zaporizhzhya sector, Ukrainian troops prevented the loss of positions southwest of Novodanylivka, Robotyne and west of Verbove.
In the Avdiyivka sector, the enemy continues to try to encircle Avdiyivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 10 enemy attacks here over the last day.
In the Maryinka and Shakhtarsk sectors, Ukrainian troops repelled over 15 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka and five attacks south of Zolota Niva and south of Prechystivka.
In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled about 15 attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv Region and five more attacks in the vicinity of Stelmakhivka and Nadiya in Luhansk Region.
Over the past day, 72 combat engagements took place. In the morning, the occupants attacked with an X-59 guided missile, S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, and six unmanned aerial vehicles.
