On 1 November, three senior officers of the Russian Dnepr headquarters were killed in a Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the enemy command post at Arabatska Spit. This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov with reference to the latest obituaries of the Russians. The same information was confirmed by the occupiers in pro-Russian telegram channels.
"It's just brilliant! On 1 November at 11.00 a.m., the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the command centre of the Dnepr troop group of the Russian Armed Forces, which is responsible for the fighting in southern Ukraine in Kherson Region. The command post was camouflaged and located in the Yunyy and Blakytne Polyumya boarding houses near the village of Strilkove, Henychesk district, on the Arabat Spit," the statement said.
It is noted that the Dnepr group was formed by the headquarters of the Russian Airborne Forces, and is commanded by the commander of the Russian Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Teplinskiy.
The latest obituaries from the Russian Federation show that the Ukrainian Armed Forces received reliable and verified intelligence on the location of the Dnepr headquarters and planned the missile strike precisely. In particular, three senior officers of the Dnepr headquarters were killed:
- Colonel Vadim Dobriakov, deputy head of the Dnepr command centre
- Colonel Aleksandr Galkin, deputy head of the Dnepr command centre;
- Colonel Aleksey Koblov, head of the enemy fire planning department.
"Based on this data, it is obvious that the missile hit the Russian headquarters and destroyed the next shift of operators. That is, the headquarters was completely destroyed. It is obvious that, in addition to the senior officers killed, there were numerous losses of low-ranking military personnel," Butusov wrote.
The journalist noted that the destruction of the Dnepr control centre was one of the highest headquarters and the greatest successes in destroying Russia's "decision-making centres" during the war.
