Following a daily conference call, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the situation at the front was "difficult" and that "defence in the Liman, Bakhmut, Donetsk and Avdiyivka sectors is difficult". At the same time, the Defence Forces are conducting offensive operations in the south.

"We heard information from the intelligence services about some international events and the enemy's plans. At this stage, the Russian army has made prisoners the main source of replenishment of losses on the battlefield," the statement said.

The President also said that he had received reports on the elimination of the consequences of shelling of civilian infrastructure in Kherson, Beryslav, and Nikopol. In Nikopol, in particular, the enemy hit the water supply network. Services are working to restore water supply to people. The President's Office is keeping this issue under control.

In addition, it is reported that the Black Sea grain corridor is showing good results. The last few days have been record-breaking in terms of cargo transported.
