The High Anti-Corruption Court has taken into custody Servant of the People party MP Andriy Odarchenko, the Anticorruption Action Centre has said on Telegram.
"The HACC took MP Odarchenko into custody with an option of bail of UAH 15 million," it said.
Odarchenko was taken into custody in the courtroom until 20 January 2024.
The MP denied that he had bribed Mustafa Nayem, head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development.
"Yes, I talked to Mustafa Nayem many times on various topics. I did not make any offers of undue advantage. We only talked about assistance and allocation of funds to the State Biotechnology University," the MP said during a hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court.
