Germany is providing another aid package to Ukraine, as reported on the German government's website, Interfax-Ukraine has said.
The new military aid package includes 10 VECTOR reconnaissance UAVs with spare parts, as well as more than 1,750 155mm shells.
Germany is also providing one LUNA NG reconnaissance system, six border guard vehicles, eight Zetros trucks, 100,000 first aid kits, medical supplies, and 30 GMG grenade launchers.
How Germany is helping Ukraine:
- Germany has promised to double its military aid to Ukraine next year. It plans to allocate 8bn euros rather than 4bn.
- Also, by the end of the year, Germany will transfer two more IRIS-T systems to Ukraine.
- Germany is making an additional €11.5 million contribution to the NATO-Ukraine Trust Fund.
- Germany provides not only military support. The country is providing an additional €17 million in soft loans for IDPs.
