Today, on 8 December, the Verkhovna Rada supported in the second reading draft law 10203-1 to increase the staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) by 300 people.
332 MPs voted in favour.
Thus, the agency's staff will be increased to 1,000 people. This will be done in stages: by 100 people over the next three years.
This law is one of the requirements of the European Commission to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
