On the morning of 8 December, the Russians launched another missile attack on Ukraine. The Kyiv RMA reported that air defence systems were activated.
The enemy launched several groups of missiles flying in different directions. The direction of movement may change, the Air Force said.
As of 7:41 a.m., one group of missiles was in Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Region, flying towards Dnipro Region.
Prior to the attack, the Air Force warned of a possible launch of cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
As of 7:44 a.m., the alert was declared throughout Ukraine, except for Odesa, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian Regions.
In addition, Russians attacked Kharkiv at night, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said. One person was reported wounded.
