President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed the bills passed by parliament on 8 December into laws, as reflected in the cards of the bills.
These are, in particular:
The Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" to bring certain provisions in line with the conclusions of the European Commission on Ukraine;
The Law on Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on the Consideration of the Expert Opinion of the Council of Europe and its Bodies on the Rights of National Minorities (Communities) in Certain Areas;
The Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and Other Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Strengthening the Independence of the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
The Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine" to strengthen the institutional capacity of the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine.
These are necessary for the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU as a fulfilment of the European Commission's requirements.
