Russian troops are trying to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the seized footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Region. To do this, the Russians are deploying airborne groups to the rear of the Ukrainian military, the spokesman for the Operational Command South, Serhiy Bratchuk, has said, Censor.net reports.

"The enemy is trying to change tactics every day, enemy artillery and aviation are very active. And here's a highlight of the last few days: the enemy is trying to deploy small groups of troops using vehicles, doing so in the rear of our units, but they fail. After appropriate artillery training and air pressure, the enemy's equipment and these troops are destroyed," Bratchuk said.

In addition, the Russians have started filtration activities in the occupied part of Kherson Region among the local population and are trying to identify the Ukrainian underground.

In the occupied territories of Kherson Region, Russians have begun raids in search of the Ukrainian underground.

In November, the Defence Forces were able to gain a foothold in some positions on the left bank to push Russian troops as far as possible and protect civilians from constant attacks.
