While on a visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is to meet with representatives of Congress to ensure support for Ukraine, Bloomberg reports.
Zelenskyy is expected to deliver a speech at a meeting of US senators. He is also scheduled to meet with House Speaker Mike Johnson. The latter was confirmed on social media by Johnson's spokesman Raj Shah.
Zelenskyy also expects to meet with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva in Washington.
The Fund's Executive Board is expected to approve the last disbursement to Ukraine of about $900 million under the loan programme approved this year in March.
