The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied reports about the damage to the bunker where Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy's deputy was staying during the shelling of Kyiv.

"Russian propagandists are actively disseminating 'information' about the alleged damage to a bunker where the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was staying during a missile attack on Kyiv. Such statements are another fake of Russian state propaganda that has nothing to do with reality," the Armed Forces said.

They also advised using information from official sources.

  1. Last night, Russia actually repeated the attack of 29 December, both in terms of missile types and the number of means of air attack. Five people were killed and almost 130 wounded.
  2. The alert lasted from 5:59 a.m. to 9:49 a.m. The main target of the attack was the capital of Ukraine. Later it became known that Russia had launched more than 90 missiles.
  3. Meanwhile, Zaluzhnyy said that Ukrainian air defence set a record for shooting down Kinzhals by downing 10 out of 10 missiles.
