Ukrainian hackers from the KibOrg project have published the complete database of Alfa-Bank's clients, which they obtained in cooperation with NLB hackers last year. This includes personal data of more than 30 million customers of the bank.
"The database contains information about the client's name, date of birth, account and phone number, as well as other interesting data. The table contains 115,217,571 records, including approximately 38 million unique individuals and legal entities," the KibOrg project said on its website.
According to the hackers, the database contains customer records dating back to 2004.
"The bank's press service hurried to deny the news, calling the personal data we presented as evidence 'compiled from several random numbers'. Later, the message was changed to accuse us of falsifying the information," the hackers said.
They also added that they managed to get through to one of the bank's owners, Mikhail Fridman, and informed him about the hacking of the database.
"Earlier we managed to get through to him and he commented on the hacking of the bank's customer base by saying: 'Don't care.' Perhaps one day he will be more inclined to talk to us," KibOrg added.
