Estonia will provide €1.2 billion in aid to Ukraine until 2027. This was stated by Estonian President Alar Karis at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Tallinn, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
The Estonian president also considers it is permitted to destroy military facilities in Russia. Therefore, there should be no restrictions on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
"By providing our support, we cannot prevent the destruction of facilities on the aggressor's territory in order to slow down the advance of Russian troops. That is why there should be no restrictions on the weapons that are transferred to Ukraine," he said.
He also said that Europe should increase military production within the EU.
According to him, Estonia, together with the EU countries, is discussing "how to use the aggressor's assets".
"Russia does not only want to seize Ukraine. It has challenged the democratic world," Karis said.
