In the afternoon, the Russian occupying army shelled Kurakhove in Donetsk Region, killing a 31-year-old man, said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
"This afternoon, Russians shelled the town with Grad multiple rocket launchers, hitting a residential area. A 31-year-old man died on the spot," said Filashkin.
He noted that a kindergarten and several private houses were damaged by the strike, and a fire broke out, which rescuers have already extinguished.
He also called on the remaining residents to move to safer areas.
