Representatives of the Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the US Embassy's Defence Cooperation Section visited a military unit to inspect weapons and equipment provided by American partners.
According to the website of the Ministry of Defence, the inspectors checked three main parameters:
serial numbers
technical condition;
conditions of proper storage (safety and security).
The Ministry of Defence reported that the information is currently being processed and that there were no comments from US representatives during the joint work.
Joint inspections of the end use of weapons provided by partners will continue. This is done to increase transparency and build trust in relations with partners, explained Deputy Minister of Defence Yuriy Dzhyhyr.
