On the night of 20 January, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with seven Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The drones were launched from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area of the Russian Federation, and three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were fired from occupied Luhansk Region at Donetsk Region.
The Air Force reported that mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed four enemy UAVs, while the remaining three did not reach their targets.
Air defence was operating in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyy regions.
