In the morning, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv. The entrance of a multi-storey building was completely destroyed, said the mayor of the city Ihor Terekhov.
Rescuers are clearing the rubble and searching for people. The city is partially without electricity.
"One of the most affected parts of Kyiv district has no electricity and partially no water supply. Relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of Russian shelling," the mayor said.
As of 9:21 a.m., two people were killed and 35 wounded, said Oleh Synyehubov, head of the RMA. At the same time, the minister of internal affairs said that there were three killed.
Among the wounded are two children aged 10 and 12.
"Unfortunately, two women aged 56 and 40 were killed. The occupiers attacked only civilian infrastructure: residential buildings were destroyed, civilian cars were destroyed. Another act of terrorism!" the statement reads.
