According to the official data of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Russia has about 900 high-precision long-range missiles left, Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat has said on the air of the news telethon.
He noted it is difficult to say how many long-range missiles the Russians are ready to use for shelling.
"According to the latest data, it was the same as in the previous period - 900 long-range missiles. It remained at the same level because the enemy used a large number of missiles during three combined major attacks, from 29 December to 8 January. I'll remind you that on 29 December, 128 air attack weapons were used, including drones and missiles. And more than a hundred (missiles - ed.) were used on 2 January," Ihnat said.
The spokesperson also stressed that despite the fact that Russia produces missiles, they also spend them during attacks. That is why the number of missiles remains at 900.
These are different types of missiles, including S-300, which are being fired at Kharkiv Region, and anti-ship missiles located in occupied Crimea.
According to the Defence Forces South, there are currently six Russian ships in the Black Sea, including two Kalibr cruise missile carriers, with a total volley of up to eight missiles.
